PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG CITY - Acting Governor of West Java Bey Machmudin hopes that the West Java High Prosecutor's Office (Kejati) under its new leadership can continue to synergize with the West Java Provincial Government, especially in law enforcement and supporting government programs.

Bey conveyed this when he was met after attending a farewell event for the Head of the West Java High Prosecutor's Office (Kajati) in the R Suprapto Hall of the West Java Prosecutor's Office, Bandung City, Thursday (13/6/2024).

"We hope we can continue to work together," he said.

The West Java Prosecutor's Office is now led by Katarina Endang Sarwestri replacing Ade Tajudin Sutiawarman. The inauguration of Katarina Endang Sarwestri as Kajati West Java was carried out directly by the Attorney General of the Republic of Indonesia ST. Burhanuddin in the Main Hall of the Attorney General's Office, Tuesday (11/6/2024).

Ade Tajudin Sutiawarman received a promotion as Secretary of the Attorney General's Education and Training Agency.

Bey said that Katarina Endang Sarwestri was no stranger to West Java. This female prosecutor previously served as Assistant for Development and Assistant for General Crimes at the West Java Prosecutor's Office.

Previously, Katarina also served as Head of the Karawang District Prosecutor's Office (Kajari) and Bogor City Kajari.

With this experience, it is felt that Katarina already understands the conditions in West Java and can adapt quickly.

"Mrs. Katarina has served in West Java, so she is familiar and understands very well," said Bey.

He also expressed his gratitude for the dedication of Ade Tajudin Sutiawarman who for more than a year supervised law enforcement in West Java.

"Thank you to Mr. Ade for his dedication while in West Java," said Bey.
