
PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG CITY - Acting (Acting) Governor of West Java Bey Machmudin has instructed all hospitals to be alert to anticipate an increase in the number of cases of Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF).
"We also ask all hospitals to be alert in anticipation," said Bey in Bandung City, Friday (1/3/2024).
Bey reported that to date, the number of dengue fever cases in West Java has reached 5,653 cases. Of this number, 41 of them died.
"To date there have been 5,653 cases with 41 deaths," he said.
Meanwhile, as a preventive measure, said Bey, the West Java Health Service and Community Health Centers will continue to provide education to the public so that cases can be reduced.
"For preventive measures, I ask the Health Department and Community Health Centers to continue providing education to the community. Health services should also be prepared," he said.
Apart from that, Bey reminded the public to always maintain a clean environment so as not to contract dengue fever from mosquitoes that nest in dirty places.
"Of course we continue to remind the public to maintain cleanliness," said Bey.
