PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG CITY - Acting Governor of West Java Bey Machmudin confirmed Wahyu as the new Head of Regional Office (Kanreg) III of the State Civil Service Agency (BKN) Bandung, at the Pakuan State Building, Bandung City, Wednesday ( 11/12/2024 ).

The inauguration ceremony was carried out in accordance with the Decree of the Head of BKN Number 446 of 2024 concerning the Appointment of Civil Servants in High-Level Leadership Positions within the BKN.

Based on the excerpt, Wahyu, who previously served as Director of Data Management and Presentation of BKN Personnel Information, replaces Heri Susilowati who is entering retirement.

"Allow me, on behalf of the government and people of West Java Province, to express my highest appreciation to Mrs. Heri Susilowati for her dedication and devotion during her tenure as Head of Regional Office III of BKN Bandung," said Bey Machmudin.

"Mrs. Heri's contribution in improving the quality of employee services is extraordinary. May her retirement be a new chapter full of happiness and blessings," Bey added.

He also congratulated Wahyu on his new assignment to lead Regional Office III of BKN Bandung.

According to Bey, the mandate he has been given is certainly an honor as well as a great responsibility.

This is because ASN requires strong and innovative leadership in ensuring transparent, effective, and digital-based personnel governance.

Because, he continued, the existence of ASN as a public service has a very important role in determining the quality of service to the community.

The driving force of change

Especially in the era of digital transformation, ASN must be able to become a driving force for change that is oriented towards innovation and technology.

"Therefore, the management of human resources of civil servants based on meritocracy, competence, and integrity is a necessity," he said.

"To all levels of Regional Office III BKN, of course we all have to support this new leadership," he added.

"Let's continue to strengthen the synergy between the West Java Provincial Government and BKN to ensure the creation of improved quality of public services that are oriented towards community welfare," concluded Bey.
