PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG CITY - Acting Governor of West Java Bey Machmudin ensured that the 2023 Christmas Service would run peacefully and full of happiness in 27 districts and cities.

This was revealed by Bey when checking with the West Java Forkopimda at three churches in Bandung City, namely Hok Kim Tong Church, Cathedral Church and GKI Maulana Yusuf, Sunday (24/12/2023) evening.

Bey said that the activities carried out tonight were proof of the commitment of the West Java Provincial Government and the West Java Forkopimda in ensuring that the 2023 Christmas Service would run smoothly and peacefully.

"We went around to three (places) churches, firstly to wish you a Merry Christmas and also for the West Java Forkopimda to guarantee the security of the implementation of the Christmas Service which was peaceful and full of happiness and of course we are grateful that our brothers and sisters were able to carry out the service solemnly, safely and peacefully, " said Bey Machmudin.

Not only in Bandung City, Bey has also ordered all regional heads in 27 districts and cities to check the implementation of Christmas services so that they run peacefully and smoothly.

"(We) in West Java, Forkopimda, districts and cities, we ask that we also rotate to ensure security," he added.

Controlled Year End Holidays

Bey Machmudin said that the density at tourist locations in West Java was still relatively under control.

Previously, Bey also checked at the KM 57 Cipularang toll road rest area and checked the traffic flow engineering in the Puncak Bogor area.

Bey also appealed to the public to pay attention to the health condition of themselves and their families when traveling. Not only that, the vehicle's roadworthiness must also be considered.

"And also maintain the physical health of the family (who are all participating) and also check the vehicle used if you are using your own vehicle so that it is in good condition," he concluded.
