PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG CITY - Acting Governor of West Java Bey Machmudin confirmed that the 2024 West Java PPDB services via the website can be accessed normally.
Even though on the first day it was disrupted due to an abundance of access, as of Tuesday (4/6/2024) it had returned to normal.
"Yesterday the server dropped but today it has been repaired and it seems to be good and it just remains to be implemented. Today I checked it is good," said Bey Machmudin when met at Gedung Sate Bandung, Tuesday (4/6/2024).
Bey also stated that he had prepared a solution if a similar incident occurred again, namely stress testing the online server and its applications periodically.
"The first anticipation is that it has been prepared so it has been stress tested, we also checked the application so that no one is holding it up (the server), everything has been double-checked, God willing, it will run smoothly. Yesterday there were also those who protested that they were not connected to Dukcapil, now they are," he said.
Bey continues to warn that PPDB will run without any fraud by any party.
"So just ask for help (media friends) for supervision during the implementation," asked Bey.
He hopes that no more stories will emerge to the public about entrusting and using insider acquaintances during registration.
"What I ask for is transparency, no cheating, no insiders, no bribes, please tell us (if there is fraud)," concluded Bey.
