PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG CITY - Acting Governor of West Java Bey Machmudin attended the Plenary Meeting to announce the proposed candidates for the West Java Provincial DPRD Leadership for the 2024-2029 term, at the West Java Provincial DPRD Building, Bandung City, Tuesday (1/10/2024).

In the Plenary Meeting, Buky Wibawa from the Gerindra Faction was proposed as chairman.

The four names as Deputy Chairmen are Iwan Suryawan from the PKS Faction, MQ Iswara from the Golkar Faction, Ono Surono from the PDIP Faction, and Acep Jamaludin from the PKB Faction.

Bey Machmudin revealed that the proposal of the names has been signed by Taufik Hidayat, the interim chairman of the DPRD. After that, it will be proposed to the Ministry of Home Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia to be determined immediately.

"Today is a plenary meeting for the proposal of the West Java DPRD leadership candidates and later after it is signed, we will submit it to the Ministry of Home Affairs and we also hope that the process can be fast at the Ministry of Home Affairs so that the discussion of the 2025 APBD can begin," said Bey Machmudin.

Bey hopes the process both in the Province and the Ministry of Home Affairs will not take too long. "Hopefully it can be in (quick time) this week," he said.

According to him, the proposal of the names of the West Java DPRD Leadership for the 2024-2029 term of office has gone through a process that complies with procedures.
