Bey Machmudin Welcomes the Presence of Taruna Nusantara High School in Cimahi

PORTALJABAR, CIMAHI CITY - Acting Governor of West Java Bey Machmudin attended the groundbreaking of Taruna Nusantara High School on Jalan Kebun Rumput, Cimahi City, Wednesday (8/11/2023).

Bey said there are two basic needs in the development process, namely education and health. In the field of education, the role of private schools really helps the government in equalizing access to education for the community.

"So we, the West Java Provincial Government, support the construction of Taruna Nusantara High School which, God willing, will start accepting students next year. "This is good news because it will increase the quality of human resources in West Java," he said.

"Of course we also welcome it because it will make it easier for sons and daughters in West Java to get an education," added Bey.

According to Bey, SMA Taruna Nusantara has proven the quality of its graduates by producing the best alumni who work in government, state-owned companies and the private sector.

It is hoped that the existence of SMA Taruna Nusantara can produce a quality next generation to welcome a Golden Indonesia in 2045.

Deputy Minister of Defense Herindra said that education is an important asset in preparing future generations. This is proof that the Indonesian Ministry of Defense pays extraordinary attention to developing education.

"The construction of Taruna Nusantara High School will not only be carried out in Bandung, but construction will also be carried out in other places such as Malang, Padang, NTB, and at the same time we will also build in IKN," he explained.

Herindra hopes that the construction of Taruna Nuaantara High School will motivate, inspire and shape the younger generation to be more responsible and facilitate access for Bandung residents to get the best education.

The construction of the Taruna Nusantara High School with a land area of 20 hectares is expected to be completed according to schedule, namely within eight months so that it is estimated that in 2024, the school will be ready for use.
