PORTALJABAR, DISTRICT. MAJALENGKA - A total of 440 Kertajati Embarkation Group 1 Hajj pilgrims from Subang Regency arrived at West Java International Airport (BIJB) Kertajati, Majalengka Regency, Sunday (23/6/2024) at 07:40 WIB.
Acting (Acting) Governor of West Java Bey Machmudin welcomed their arrival as soon as they got off Saudia Airlines.

"We welcome the arrival of the first Kertajati group of Hajj pilgrims from Subang. We pray for them to have a prosperous and successful Hajj," said Bey.

Bey had time to greet and dialogue with the congregation. According to the congregation, during the Hajj pilgrimage, they received maximum facilities, so that all stages of the pilgrimage were carried out smoothly.

"I asked them earlier, they said it was going well, they were happy there and the facilities were good, there was enough food, the tent was also comfortable," said Bey.

After arriving at the airport terminal, the Hajj pilgrims are administratively checked by immigration officers. After that they took the bus to Subang. The congregation's families were all welcomed at the bus arrival point in Subang.

"After coming here they were checked by immigration and then took a bus to Subang, so the family picked them up in Subang," said Bey.

The Hajj Group 1 congregation from Subang all returned in good health and no one died.

"None of those who have arrived now have died. A total of 32 people in West Java have died, most of them are sick," said Bey.

Furthermore, on the same day, Hajj pilgrims from Bandung City will arrive at Kertajati Airport.
