PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG CITY - Acting Governor of West Java Bey Machmudin handed over kadeudeuh to the Persib Bandung players who won the 2023-2024 League 1 in the West Hall of Gedung Sate, Bandung City, Tuesday (4/6/2024).

The Kadeudeuh was received directly by Persib Bandung player representative Henhen Herdiana.

To the management of Persib Bandung, Bey said that the kadeudeuh given by the West Java Provincial Government through Bank bjb, PT. West Java Upstream Oil and Gas and PT. Jamkrida can be used as a long-term investment for life after becoming a soccer athlete.

"I thought, as a regional head, there are many sons from West Java at Persib. So don't let them end up not knowing their fate after playing football," said Bey.

For this reason, Bey said he would offer several entrepreneurial programs at bjb to Persib Bandung players.

"I ask BUMD Bank Jabar (bjb) to help offer, without obligation. Because we often see and hear, whether football players, badminton, or whatever, at their productive age they are successful, but then at the age of 40-50 years they start to decline again ," he said.

"Bjb has several programs, including entrepreneurship or others, but even if they want, at least they will be provided with knowledge," he added.

Bey said that the profession of a football player is the same as someone who works in an office. However, what is different is that they (footballers) have a career from the start that only focuses on playing football.

Therefore, he hopes that all Persib Bandung players, especially local boys, can maintain a better life after hanging up their boots from the green field.

"So if you can survive, it means the same as people from childhood, elementary school, middle school, high school, college, then work. Only they (Persib players) are football players first, but after playing football, they have to be able to survive. with a good standard of living," said Bey.

Meanwhile, Persib Bandung Manager Umuh Muchtar said he was happy when the football club, the pride of the people of West Java, was given attention by the West Java Provincial Government.

"Yes, very happy, (the gift) from the Governor was accompanied by BUMD Bank Jabar. We don't look at the value, whatever it is, the name kadeudeuh is kanyaah, nyaah to the players and what's more, Persib becoming champions is normal," said Umuh.

Persib Bandung player Henhen Herdiana is also grateful to receive attention from the West Java Provincial Government.

According to Henhen, this is a trigger for him and the other players to provide better performance next season.

"Thank God, we as players and officials can gather with the Governor and also our parents at Persib Bandung. Hopefully next year we can be even better and Allah SWT will reward us for what we have given," said Henhen.
