
PORTALJABAR, DISTRICT. KUNINGAN - Acting Governor of West Java Bey Machmudin visited the funeral home of the late Acep Purnama, Regent of Kuningan remaining in office for the 2016-2018 and 2018 - 2023 periods in Cigugur Village/District, Kuningan Regency, Saturday (25/5/2024).
Bey Machmudin arrived at the residence of the late Acep Purnama at 09.45 accompanied by the Acting Regent of Kuningan Iip Hidayat. To the families left behind, Bey expressed his deep condolences on behalf of himself and the West Java Provincial Government.
"I am very sorry for Mr Acep's passing, I hope he will be given the best place and thank you for serving, leading Kuningan Regency," said Bey Machmudin when talking with the bereaved family.
Acep Purnama died at Immanuel Hospital Bandung on Thursday (23/5/2024) at around 12.00 due to illness.
Bey said that during the late Acep Purnama's tenure as Regent of Kuningan, he had given birth to various developments that had a positive impact on society.
"I would like to express my thanks to the family for the service of the late Pak Acep while serving as Regent of Kuningan," he said.
Acep Purnama was appointed as Regent of Kuningan replacing Utje Choeriah Suganda for the remainder of the 2016-2018 term, and was re-elected as Regent of Kuningan in the 2018 regional head election with Ridho Suganda.
The deceased left a wife Ika Siti Rahmatica, five children and four grandchildren.
