PORTALJABAR, KARAWANG REGENCY - The Karawang Regency Government through the One-Stop Investment and Licensing Service (DPMPTSP) carried out the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for Large Business and MSME Partnerships, taking place at the Singaperbangsa Building Hall, 3rd floor, Thursday (15/5/2025).

The activity aims to build a mutually beneficial and sustainable business network between large industries and Medium, Small and Micro Enterprises (MSMEs) in Karawang Regency. In addition, the MoU is a real manifestation of equitable and just economic development.

There are five large companies that have direct cooperation with five local MSMEs. The five companies include three catering service companies, one work uniform procurement company and one vehicle and forklift repair service.

Karawang Regent H. Aep Syaepuloh expressed his gratitude to business actors who continue to establish partnerships with local MSMEs in Karawang Regency.

He hopes that this activity will be able to increase the collaboration and synergy that has been established and will be able to provide a positive impact for all.

"This collaboration can continue to be improved, convey what the obstacles are, we are also committed to creating investment-friendly areas," he said.

In addition, he also said that the local government continues to strive to provide the best for MSMEs to move up a class. One of them is establishing a BPOM representative office in Karawang Regency and committing to the activity as part of a strategy to encourage MSMEs to move up a class, open market access, and create an inclusive investment ecosystem.
