PORTALJABAR, CIMAHI CITY - The West Java Human Resources Development Agency (BPSDM) received the Makarti Bhakti Nagari 2024 award from the State Administration Institute of the Republic of Indonesia (LAN RI).
West Java BPSDM was declared the second best educational institution in Indonesia, with DKI Jakarta BPSDM in first place and Yogyakarta BPSDM third best.
The Makarti Bhakti Nagari Award was received by the Head of West Java BPSDM Hery Antasari in Jakarta, Tuesday (6/8/2024).
At this grand LAN event, Minister for Administrative Reform and Bureaucratic Reform Abdullah Azwar Anas expressed his high appreciation to LAN and all award recipients from ministries, central institutions and regional governments.
He emphasized the importance of efforts to cut bureaucracy and business processes that have no effect on improving the quality of public services.
"We must focus more on the duties and functions of each institution, not be busy with long ceremonial and protocol activities that take up time," said Azwar Anas.
Plt. Head of LAN RI Muhammad Taufiq presented a reflection on the great ideals of building LAN RI 67 years ago.
According to him, 67 years is a fairly mature age for a state institution which to this day still has enthusiasm for big ideals: being able to build a professional state apparatus as a pillar of development.
Even though we are faced with various challenges of disruption, said the Minister, these changes actually force everyone to work hard to make breakthroughs, new ways of providing the best service to the nation, the best competency development facilities for Indonesian ASN.
"That is why the spirit of LAN Transformation is being promoted in Facing the Era of Disruption: Bigger, Smarter and Better in 2024," said Taufiq.
Head of West Java BPSDM Hery Antasari said the Makarti Bhakti Nagari award was the result of team collaboration and positive support from various parties for various missions that have been and are currently being carried out at BPSDM.
"This award is an additional encouragement to improve the quality of competency development services for all ASN in West Java which are developed through acceleration, synergy and impactful innovation," he said.
