PORTALJABAR, BEKASI REGENCY - The Bekasi Regency Government appreciates PT Haier Electrical Appliances Indonesia, which has now succeeded in producing 10 million units since 2012. Therefore, this achievement is an important milestone for manufacturing growth in Bekasi Regency.

During his visit, Regent Ade said that collaboration between local governments and companies in the industrial sector was important, not only in creating jobs, but also in protecting the environment and strengthening community welfare.

In an event at EJIP Industrial Park, South Cikarang, Wednesday (4/23/2025), Regent Ade Kuswara Kunang gave his appreciation to the management and employees of PT Haier for the achievement. He said that the achievement of 10 million units of production was a symbol of the company's hard work, innovation, and commitment that had a positive impact on the regional economy.

"The production of 10 million units is not just a number, but a symbol of the success of an industry that has grown together with the community," said Regent Ade Kuswara Kunang.

He also emphasized that this success should be followed by real benefits for the community, such as absorption of local labor and increasing company participation in regional development.

The Bekasi Regency Government, he continued, is committed to continuing to strengthen synergy between the government, society and the business world.

He hopes that companies in Bekasi Regency, including PT Haier, can continue to contribute to opening up more job opportunities, considering the large number of people seeking job opportunities.

"Although many residents work in more than 7,000 companies in the industrial area, the aspirations of the community to obtain decent work are still very high," he added.

In addition, Regent Ade also underlined the importance of preserving the environment in industrial areas. He invited all business actors, including PT Haier, to be active in CSR and TJSLP programs that can support infrastructure development at the village and sub-district levels.

"We hope that companies will help maintain environmental balance. There are many cases of road or drainage damage that we can solve together through synergy between the government and the business world," he said.

Meanwhile, HRD Manager of PT Haier, Luciadian Andriani, was grateful for the company's achievement in reaching the 10 millionth unit production. He also welcomed the presence of the Bekasi Regent in the celebration, which was considered a great motivation for the company.

"Alhamdulillah, today we celebrate the production of 10 million units since Haier was established in Indonesia in 2012. The presence of the Regent is a source of pride and great motivation for us," explained Luciadian.

He also emphasized the company's commitment to continue to collaborate with the local government in supporting the development of Bekasi Regency.

"In the future, we want to be more active in contributing to the development of Bekasi Regency, both through CSR programs, social activities, and community involvement in company activities," he added.

Luciadian is proud of his company's absorption of local workers. Currently, PT Haier employs around 800 employees, of which around 50 percent come from the Bekasi Regency community.

"We believe that growing together with the surrounding community is a strong foundation for sustainable company growth," he concluded.

The ceremony was held solemnly and full of collaborative spirit, attended by PT Haier management, representatives of local governments, industry associations, and community leaders.

Luciadian hopes that the 10 million unit production achievement will be an important momentum in strengthening the partnership between the industrial sector and local government, as well as supporting efforts to realize an advanced, prosperous, and globally competitive Bekasi Regency.
