PORTALJABAR, BOGOR REGENCY - Bogor Regent, Rudy Susmanto received an audience from IPB University which took place at the Bogor Regent's Pendopo on Saturday (4/26/2025). The meeting is an effort by the Bogor Regency Government to collaborate with various educational institutions, especially in supporting data and technology-based development.
"Today's activities are indeed maximized to receive several cooperation proposals from various parties, including IPB. We even open time on holidays, because the urgency is quite high," said the Bogor Regent.
In the meeting, IPB University presented a number of programs, including the development of digital village data, and precision villages, which will support the planning process and public services at the village level. In addition, the Wiratani School program was also discussed, as part of the regional food security strategy.
"We will collaborate on these programs with related SKPDs, so that they are not only academic studies, but can actually be implemented for the community," explained Rudy Susmanto.
The Regent of Bogor also said that the collaboration is not only limited to IPB University, but will also be opened to other universities that have programs that are beneficial to the people of Bogor Regency.
As a follow-up, the Bogor Regency Government is targeting technical discussions to begin on Monday with the Regional Secretary and Bapeddalitbang.
In addition to discussing cooperation with IPB, the Regent also revealed a number of developments in other programs, including the procurement of operational motorbikes for field officers, as well as the acceleration of the construction and operation of the Regency Government-owned hotel, Sayaga, which has been prepared with a ballroom and 89 rooms.
"Rather than waiting for the front view to be completed, it is better to start the operation first. This is important for Sayaga's income," Rudy added.
Regarding infrastructure development, Rudy ensured that work on the Rawayan Dramaga Bridge will begin in the next few days after all administrative documents and budget are prepared.
Meanwhile, for waste management, he emphasized that the current focus of the Regency Government is on the Galuga TPA, considering that the Nambo TPS is still the domain of the West Java Provincial Government.
