PORTALJABAR, DISTRICT. BOGOR - Bogor Regent Iwan Setiawan carried out a direct inspection and at the same time provided financial assistance for victims of the landslide natural disaster which caused two people to die due to being buried by landslides in Petir Village, Dramaga District, Bogor Regency (27/11/2023).

During this review, the Regent of Bogor also provided a number of assistance for victims of the natural landslide disaster at that location, namely, household equipment from the Bogor Regency Social Service and the Indonesian Ministry of Health.

"The additional IDR 20 million from us is spontaneous, not wanting to replace, but to ease the burden on the bereaved for tahlilan costs," said the Regent of Bogor.

On this occasion, Iwan Setiawan has also instructed the Bogor Regency Land and Settlement Housing Service (DPKPP) and the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) to immediately rehabilitate the victim's house, as well as construct a 30 meter high Retaining Wall (TPT).

"I ask DPKPP to build TPTs 30 meters high at four points in the Dramaga area and we will also rehabilitate the houses. "As well as BPBD to create a disaster status because there were fatalities to issue a budget for Unexpected Assistance (BTT)," he stressed.

He also asked the Disaster Management Team in villages and sub-districts to massively provide disaster mitigation education to the community, especially to people who live in disaster-prone areas.

"Don't let it happen again, properly educate the entire community and socialize the importance of disaster mitigation, so that at least they can evacuate from disaster-prone areas when disaster threatens," he added.
