PORTALJABAR, DISTRICT. BOGOR - Bogor Regent, Iwan Setiawan together with the Regional People's Representative Council (DPRD) of Bogor Regency discussed six agendas at once at the DPRD Plenary Meeting, in the Plenary Meeting Room (30/11/2023).

One of them is the stipulation of joint agreement on two Draft Regional Regulations, namely the Draft Regional Regulation on the implementation of transportation and the Draft Regional Regulation on the formation of sub-districts.

The Plenary Meeting was chaired by the Chair of the Bogor Regency DPRD, Rudy Susmanto, followed by the Deputy Chair and other DPRD Members. Also present at the event were Bogor Regional Government officials.

The six agendas discussed included the stipulation of the Bogor Regency DPRD's decision regarding the Regional Regulation Formation Program (Propemperda) in 2024. Submission of applications for four land exchange agreements (ruislag) belonging to the Bogor Regional Government.

Determination of joint agreement between the Bogor Regency DPRD and the Bogor Regent regarding two Draft Regional Regulations, namely the Draft Regional Regulation on the implementation of transportation and the Draft Regional Regulation on the formation of sub-districts.

Determination of the DPRD's decision regarding the approval of the exchange of land and buildings for SMPN 03 Gunungputri in Ciangsana Village, Gunungputri District by PT. Kurnia Subur Permai, announcement of the end of the Bogor Regent's term of office, as well as the establishment of joint agreement between the Bogor Regency DPRD and the Bogor Regent on the Draft Regional Regulation on the Bogor Regency APBD for the 2024 fiscal year.

Regarding the stipulation of joint approval for the two Draft Regional Regulations, namely the Draft Regional Regulation on the implementation of transportation and the Draft Regional Regulation on the formation of sub-districts, the Regent of Bogor, Iwan Setiawan expressed, on behalf of the Bogor Regency Government, his deepest thanks to the leadership and members of the DPRD, who during the discussion meeting had providing many suggestions, criticisms and input so that this Draft Regional Regulation can be approved and will then be stipulated as a Regional Regulation (Perda).

"With the approval of the Draft Regional Regulation on the formation of sub-districts as a Regional Regulation on Bogor Regency, it is hoped that regional government governance will be better, more effective and efficient," said Iwan Setiawan.

Iwan continued, and hopefully the stipulation of the Draft Regional Regulation on transportation management will further strengthen support for national development as part of efforts to realize security, safety, order and smooth mobility of people, goods and services to improve community welfare.

Furthermore, regarding the announcement of the end of the Bogor Regent's term of office, Regent Iwan Setiawan explained, Minister of Home Affairs Regulation Number 18 of 2020 concerning Implementing Regulations of Government Regulation (PP) Number 13 of 2019 concerning Reports and Evaluation of Regional Government Implementation article 20 paragraph 1 states that, in terms of the head When a region ends its term of office before the fiscal year ends, the regional head submits a memorandum of handover of office to the new regional head or replacement official, as material for preparing the LKPJ by the new regional head or replacement official.

"Allow me as Regent of Bogor for the 2018-2023 period, to express my deepest gratitude and highest appreciation to the chairman, deputy chairman and all members of the DPRD, Forkopimda ranks, apparatus and all elements of society for their synergy and cooperation in supporting performance and the vision and mission of the Bogor Regent for the 2018-2023 period," explained Iwan.
