PORTALJABAR, BOGOR REGENCY - Bogor Regent, Rudy Susmanto together with Bogor Police Chief AKBP Wikha Ardilestanto, inaugurated the kitchen of the 9th Nutrition Fulfillment Service Unit (SPPG) belonging to the Bogor Police located in Cibungbulang District, Monday (2/3/2026).

Rudy Susmanto stated that the Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) program is a major national initiative that focuses not only on providing food but also has strategic implications for human resource development and strengthening the community's economy.

"This program is a major initiative initiated by the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Mr. Prabowo Subianto, to improve the quality of human resources while simultaneously stimulating the people's economy," said Rudy.

According to him, the existence of SPPG not only impacts the provision of nutrition, but also opens up opportunities for the development of derivative economics, such as the management of food waste into maggot cultivation by Karang Taruna, to strengthening local food security through the Lembur Hejo program and vegetable greenhouses.

"Let's support this good program together, monitor it together, and share its positive impact with the wider community," said Rudy.

He explained that the target is to establish 700 SPPG kitchens in Bogor Regency. If each kitchen employs an average of 45 to 50 people, the potential employment potential could reach around 35,000.

"This means the economy is moving. People are working. The budget allocated is substantial, circulating directly in the regions," Rudy explained.

Meanwhile, Bogor Police Chief, AKBP Wikha Ardilestanto expressed his appreciation to the Bogor Regent for the support given.

According to him, this is because the majority of SPPG land is an asset of the Bogor Regency Government which was loaned to support the national program.

"Currently, the Bogor Police have 12 SPPG kitchens, and six of them are targeted to be operational next week. We'll start with the Cibungbulang SPPG, which we launched today, and God willing, it will be operational starting tomorrow," he said.

He explained that the advantage of the Indonesian National Police's SPPG kitchen lies in its food quality control system.

According to him, every food that will be distributed to beneficiaries, including students, pregnant women, the elderly, and toddlers, will undergo a food test by Sidokkes personnel from the Bogor Police to ensure food safety and health.

"We ask for the public's prayers and support so that the operations of all SPPGs in Bogor Regency can run smoothly and provide real benefits," concluded AKBP Wikha Ardilestanto.

The inauguration of the 9th SPPG Kitchen of the Bogor Police in Cibungbulang District was also attended by the Dandim 0621 of Bogor Regency, the Chairman of the Bogor Regency DPRD, Members of the Bogor Regency DPRD, the Regional Secretary of Bogor Regency along with the leadership of regional apparatus, the Sub-district Head and Forkopimcam Cibungbulang along with Village Heads, the Chairman of the Bogor Regency Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Chairman of the Bogor Regency Youth Organization, Bhayangkari of the Bogor Police and the Cibungbulang Police.
