PORTALJABAR, BOGOR REGENCY - Bogor Regent Rudy Susmanto held an open house event at the Tegar Beriman Building to celebrate Eid al-Fitr 1446 Hijri, Monday (31/3/2025).

The event became an important momentum to strengthen the ties between the government and the people of Bogor Regency.

Rudy said that this open house event was also an opportunity for the people of Bogor Regency to socialize with the Regent and local government officials and celebrate togetherness in the spirit of Eid al-Fitr.

Rudy hopes that this Eid al-Fitr celebration can be a momentum to realize great hopes for the progress of Bogor Regency in the future.

"Bogor may have history, but remember that all the people of Bogor Regency have the right to be happy," he said.

On this occasion, Rudy delivered an important message regarding works of art, especially photographs produced by extraordinary young journalists.

"This is very extraordinary, and today we want this artwork to not only be in public spaces. But we want all the photographic works, the journalistic works of great young people to be enjoyed by the entire community of Bogor Regency," he said.

Rudy also emphasized that the photos were not just pictures, but works that tell the long journey of Bogor Regency.

He gave examples of several great figures recorded in the history of Bogor Regency, such as President Joko Widodo who once visited with former Bogor Regent Rachmat Yasin.

In addition, a photo of former Regent Nurhayanti, who is considered one of the great women who ever led Bogor Regency, is also visible.

"These photos tell a story, these photos tell the long journey of Bogor Regency, we can see the great figure of the Indonesian nation, Mr. Joko Widodo with former Bogor Regent Rachmat Yasin, Nurhayanti, Ade Yasin, Iwan Setiawan, and the cultural figure who was once the Deputy Regent of Bogor, Mr. Karyawan Faturachman," he said.

Rudy also reminded that Bogor was not built in a short time, but through the togetherness of all elements of society and figures from Bogor Regency.

"Bogor was not created in one day, Bogor was created through togetherness, together with all the people of Bogor Regency, all the figures of Bogor Regency," he said.

He emphasized that success in developing Bogor Regency would not be possible without support from the community.

"Likewise, Rudy Susmanto-Ade Ruhandi, no matter how great we are, no matter how brilliant our ideas and concepts are, they will not be realized properly without the support of the people of Bogor Regency," he said.
