
PORTALJABAR, BOGOR REGENCY - Bogor Regent Rudy Susmanto received the Honorary Brevet of the Presidential Security Forces of the Republic of Indonesia "Setia Waspada" from the Commander of the Presidential Security Forces of the Republic of Indonesia Major General of the Indonesian National Army Edwin Andrian Sumantha as a form of appreciation for the support of VVIP security for the President and Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia (11/2/2026).
The award was presented at the Jakarta Presidential Security Forces Command Headquarters and designated Rudy as an honorary member of the Republic of Indonesia Presidential Security Forces.
The Honorary Brevet “Setia Waspada” was also awarded to the Chairman of the Bogor Regency Regional People's Representative Council, the Commander of Military District 0621, and the Chief of the Bogor Resort Police.
Rudy said that this award is not merely a symbol, but a mandate to maintain the honor of the Presidential Security Forces institution and strengthen its dedication in supporting national security.
"This is not only an honor, but also a shared commitment that we must uphold. Allow me, along with my colleagues from the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI), the Indonesian National Police (Polri), and government agencies, to contribute to building this nation with all our heart and soul," said Rudy Susmanto.
Rudy also revealed his family background, which comes from the Indonesian National Armed Forces, so the award is both a source of pride and motivation to continue making real contributions to the country.
The Commander of the Presidential Security Forces of the Republic of Indonesia, Major General of the Indonesian National Armed Forces, Edwin Andrian Sumantha, stated that this honorary brevet is a symbol of the state's trust given to those who are deemed to have high dedication.
"This affirms the readiness of every person who bears it to stand at the forefront of protecting the nation's leadership, while remaining humble in their service. Setia Waspada is a moral compass, a guiding principle, and a symbol of the highest dedication for every Paspampres member," he explained.
Edwin explained that the awarding of the brevet also served as a form of appreciation for the tangible support and collaboration across elements in ensuring the smooth security of VVIPs at various state events.
This momentum strengthens cooperation between the Bogor Regency Government, the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI), the Indonesian National Police (Polri), and related agencies to ensure security and stability for the smooth operation of government services and community activities.
