PORTALJABAR, BOGOR REGENCY - Bogor Regent Rudy Susmanto welcomed the Pakansari Running Race event organized by the Indonesian Community Sports Committee (KORMI) of Bogor Regency.

Rudy said that the Bogor Regency Government (Pemdakab) together with the Forkopimda will accommodate young people with positive and legal activities.

Rudy explained that every night, many young people carry out activities around Pakansari Stadium, so that their activities become positive, his party together accommodates them with a running competition at night.

"We will continue to carry out this activity together, so that young people in Bogor Regency have a positive forum," he said.

Rudy admitted that he still saw young people doing illegal racing in several places, so the Bogor Regency Government together with the Forkopimda will accommodate illegal racing so that it becomes something positive, namely we will accommodate it into several legal competitions that are no longer on the streets.

"But the consequence is that if we still find illegal racing, the Bogor Police will take firm action," he said.

Rudy said, after accommodating, in the future his party hopes that the talents of young people who have potential can be channeled and become positive achievements for Bogor Regency. The plan is that after Ramadan his party will hold several competitions.

"For example, those who like to race motorbikes on the road, we will prepare a place using standard safety equipment, then those who like to race on foot, we will also facilitate it. The Bogor Regency Government is doing this because young people are the future of the Indonesian nation," he said.

He added, this race is one of them to combat gambling and brawls in Bogor Regency. Everything is prepared, starting from the place and others are also prepared, and the match is fair.

Also present to witness the Pakansari Running Race were the Chairman of the Bogor Regency DPRD, the Bogor Police Chief and the Commander of the 0621 Bogor Regency Military District, the Head of the Youth and Sports Service (Dispora), and the Chairman of the Bogor Regency KORMI.
