PORTALJABAR, BOGOR REGENCY - Bogor Regent, Rudy Susmanto emphasized that the Bogor Regency Government is ready to make the central government's program, namely food security, a success, so that it can run optimally in Bogor Regency.

This is what he said while participating in the simultaneous rice harvest activities in 14 provinces and 157 districts/cities throughout Indonesia, which was led directly by the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto virtually, Monday (7/4/2024).

Rudy Susmanto explained that this mass harvest agenda was carried out simultaneously throughout Indonesia.

"While we are present to carry out the mass harvest in Jonggol District," he said.

"The land area here is approximately 25 hectares, but for Bogor Regency it is approximately 39,000 hectares. With an average harvest of 6.75 tons per hectare, it means it is above the national harvest average," Rudy added.

Rudy invited all parties to support the central program, namely food security, especially in Bogor Regency, we return some unproductive lands to be maximized again.

"I am grateful, in Bogor Regency itself the food security program is assisted by the TNI and Polri. The TNI focuses on rice plants, and the Polri focuses on corn plants for farmers in Bogor Regency, we will maximize agricultural assistance for both rice fields and plantations," concluded Rudy.
