The Regent of Bogor received an audience with the Mathla'ul Anwar Regional Management of Bogor Regency in the Dayang Sumbi Room, Regent's Pendopo (17/5/2025).

PORTALJABAR, BOGOR REGENCY - The audience was a forum to convey aspirations and build synergy between the Bogor Regency Government and religious organizations in strengthening education and empowering the community.

The Regent of Bogor emphasized his commitment to the sustainability of religious programs and supported the role of Islamic organizations, including Mathla'ul Anwar, in the moral and social development of society.

"I assure you, I will continue to add to and perfect the religious and organizational programs that have been implemented since the previous Regent," said the Bogor Regent.

The audience also discussed opportunities for cooperation, especially in strengthening madrasas, improving the quality of human resources based on religious values, and developing educational facilities and infrastructure in remote areas of Bogor Regency.

The Head of the Mathla'ul Anwar Regional Management of Bogor Regency stated the organization's commitment to developing national education and morals through educational institutions in remote areas.

He emphasized the spirit of "Moving from Remote Areas" as the main principle of Mathla'ul Anwar's struggle in Bogor Regency.

"There is not a single Mathla'ul Anwar institution that is on the side of the highway. They are all in remote areas. But that is where our strength is built," he said.

He also said that 95 percent of the 149 Mathla'ul Anwar institutions in Bogor Regency were used as Polling Stations (TPS) in the last election, which shows the organization's active participation in the democratic process.

"Alhamdulillah, every election event, our cadres are always at the forefront. Even our institutions are often used as TPS, and the KPPS chairmen are also from our ranks," he added.

He highlighted the importance of revitalizing madrasas as centers for the development of morals and ethics of the younger generation, in line with the vision of the West Java Provincial Government.

For example, he mentioned the Mathla'ul Anwar madrasah in Rumpin which was established in 1930 as historical evidence of the organization's contribution to national education.

"We want to produce a generation that can master three languages, but the challenges are still big. We need the support of many parties," he concluded.

Mathla'ul Anwar continues to be committed to building from the bottom, from remote areas, for the sake of a dignified future for the nation.

Accompanying the Bogor Regent in this audience were among others the Regional Secretary of Bogor Regency, Head of the Social Service, Secretary of the Bogor Regency DPRD, Acting Head of the Regional Development Planning, Research and Development Agency, and community leaders of Bogor Regency.
