PORTALJABAR, CIAMIS REGENCY - Ciamis Regent Herdiat Sunarya invited government officials to continue serving the public optimally despite limited regional budgets during the Halal Bihalal event of Ciamis Regency Government officials at the Ciamis Regency Regional Secretariat Hall (2/4/2026).

The Halal Bihalal Idul Fitri 1447 Hijriah activity was attended by around 250 participants consisting of assistants, expert staff, heads of regional apparatus organizations, sub-district heads, and representatives of employees of the Ciamis Regency Regional Secretariat.

The event also included a sermon by KH Yayan Ahmad Jalaluddin, the head of the Miftahul Inayah Banjarsari Islamic Boarding School.

Herdiat Sunarya said that the joint activity was a momentum for mutual forgiveness and at the same time strengthening the togetherness of the apparatus in providing services to the community.

He explained that the implementation of this year's Eid al-Fitr community activities was adjusted to the regional financial conditions, which prioritized the budget for public service needs.

Herdiat emphasized that budget limitations should not reduce the quality of government services to the public.

"Don't let budget limitations make us pessimistic. We must remain optimistic and continue to serve the public to the best of our ability," said Herdiat Sunarya.

He believes that the presence of government officials in the community is a very meaningful form of attention for residents.

"When people are experiencing difficulties, simply being there, greeting them, and observing their condition makes them feel cared for and protected," said Herdiat Sunarya.

Herdiat also appreciated the performance of the Ciamis Regency Government apparatus, which was still able to carry out public services and achieve various work results amidst budget limitations.

The culture of mutual cooperation in the Ciamis community is considered to be an important force in supporting regional development.

The program to assist uninhabitable houses with a limited budget can grow bigger due to the support of community self-help at the village level.

Herdiat said that the regional government also considers the social conditions of the community in every development policy, including not immediately increasing regional taxes.

"The most important thing is how we maintain the spirit of mutual cooperation and togetherness in society," said Herdiat Sunarya.

The Regional Secretary of Ciamis Regency, Andang Firman Triyadi, reported that the implementation of the Eid al-Fitr Prayers on 1 Shawwal 1447 Hijriah at the district level was centered at Ciamis Square and was attended by the community in an orderly and solemn manner.

The Halal Bihalal activity became a momentum to strengthen togetherness of all Ciamis Regency Government officials in providing the best service to the community.
