PORTALJABAR, BEKASI REGENCY - The elected Regent and Deputy Regent of Bekasi Regency, Ade Kuswara Kunang and Asep Surya Atmaja were declared healthy, after undergoing a health check as part of the preparations before the inauguration by the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto, on Thursday (20/2/2025).

The health check was conducted at the Bekasi Regency Hospital on February 14, 2025. This test covers various aspects to ensure the physical and health readiness of the two regional leaders before carrying out their duties. The results of the examination showed that both were in prime condition and ready to face the inauguration.

"This medical check-up is indeed part of our transition team's agenda and has been communicated with the Central Government and the transitional government. Tomorrow we will also go to the Ministry of Home Affairs for further health checks," said Ade Kuswara Kunang.

Ade added that after the entire series of health tests are complete, he and Asep will undergo a quarantine process as the final stage before the inauguration at the State Palace. He also emphasized his physical, mental, and spiritual readiness in carrying out his duties as regional head.

Meanwhile, the elected Deputy Regent Asep Surya Atmaja revealed that in addition to health checks, he and Ade also monitored several facilities at the Bekasi Regency Hospital, including the Cathlab Installation for installing heart rings.

"We will try to get BPJS to cooperate with RSUD regarding this service. Heart attacks are the cause of sudden death, so access to treatment must be easier for the community," said Asep.
