He said this when opening the Bogor Regency Regional Long Term Development Plan (RPJPD) Public Consultation Forum for 2025-2045, at the Tegar Beriman Building, Bogor Regency, Monday (4/12/2023).

On this occasion, Data Ranger was launched by the Regional Development Planning, Research and Development Agency (Bappedalitbang).

Iwan explained that currently the Bogor Regency Regional Government (Pemdakab) through Bappedalitbang is formulating a vision and mission, main targets and policy directions for the next 20 years based on strategic problems and issues in Bogor Regency as well as taking into account national, West Java and district/regency policies. border town.

"The roadmap towards 2045 already exists from the central government, it's just a matter of how we translate it according to the conditions in Bogor Regency. "So we can see how we plan to realize our dreams in 2045," he said.

Iwan revealed that several dominant factors in Bogor Regency that must be taken into consideration in formulating long-term targets are the large population, the geographical conditions of the region in terms of potential and threats, macro regional conditions such as the rate of economic growth, poverty, unemployment, development inequality, and income per capita. "Hopefully the invitees who attend can follow this activity carefully, stakeholders must be able to actively participate in this process, so that all stages of preparing the 2025-2045 RPJPD can run effectively, efficiently and on time according to schedule," he said.

Regarding the launch of Data Ranger, Iwan explained that this was a form of motivation and appreciation for data warriors. The people selected are data officers within the Bogor Regional Government who collect and process data on a daily basis.

"We want these officers to be able to work focused and in the future, God willing, we will give them awards. "I also ask the department heads and sub-district heads to provide support to officers who are mandated to search and manage data," he said.

Iwan added that his goal is for Bogor Regency to have big data, because data is very important for formulating policies and making decisions.

"If we have good data, God willing, the policies taken will be good," he said.
