PORTALJABAR, GARUT REGENCY - Garut Regent Abdusy Syakur Amin led the Joint Roll Call at the Regional Secretariat Roll Call Field, Jalan Pembangunan, Tarogong Kidul District (2/3/2026), emphasizing that the apparatus must respond quickly to public complaints while also handing over integrity awards and social assistance to residents.
The roll call was combined with the handover of the civil servant retirement decree, the Integrity Zone award towards a Corruption-Free Area, and social assistance from the National Zakat Collection Agency of Garut Regency.
Abdusy Syakur Amin believes that advances in information technology have accelerated the flow of citizen reports, necessitating that regional authorities must be responsive in following up.
"We all must respond quickly to traffic information. When something is deemed to require government attention, we must respond promptly according to our respective duties. Don't always wait for instructions from the Regent and Deputy Regent, so as not to give the impression of being slow," he stressed.
He asked sub-district heads and heads of departments to actively monitor conditions in the area so that the public can enjoy services without having to wait long.
On that occasion, Abdusy Syakur Amin submitted the Regent's Decree regarding the dismissal of civil servants who have reached the Retirement Age Limit as of March 2026 as a form of appreciation for their dedication.
"This is a form of respect for my colleagues who have dedicated themselves to the Garut community. I express my deepest gratitude for their dedication so far," he said.
As a form of bureaucratic reform, five Technical Implementation Units of Public Health Centers received the Integrity Zone title towards a Corruption-Free Area, namely the Cilawu, Karangpawitan, Cihurip, Siliwangi, and Cibatu Community Health Centers.
The award encourages improvements in cleaner, more transparent, and more accountable healthcare services for thousands of patients in their respective regions.
The National Zakat Agency of Garut Regency distributed assistance from the Garut Cares Program of IDR 10 million each to five foundations, namely Harapanawan Muhammadiyah Lio and Ittihadul Ummat in Garut City District, Abul Yatama and Al-Amin in Tarogong Kaler District, and Nurul Falah in Samarang District.
The distribution of funds helps with the operational costs and needs of dozens of foster children so that they can continue to receive proper education and welfare services.
