PORTALJABAR, GARUT REGENCY - Garut Regent Abdusy Syakur Amin attended the Grand Celebration of the Fauzan Islamic Boarding School in Sukaresmi District. (June 21, 2026)

This activity is a momentum to commemorate the services of scholars while strengthening the values of education and preaching.

Abdusy Syakur Amin appreciated the contribution of the Fauzan Islamic Boarding School in producing a knowledgeable and moral generation.

According to him, thousands of Islamic boarding school alumni have contributed to building communities in various regions.

"Abdi Nganuhunkeun, as a representative of the Garut Regency Government, gave high fives, perhaps even tens of thousands of Garut residents, high fives to Jeung Sakola Didieu's Islamic boarding school," he said.

He said that haol is an opportunity to pray for religious scholars, teachers, and all figures who have contributed to building Islamic boarding schools.

Abdusy Syakur Amin invited the younger generation to continue the struggle of the ulama through education and service.

"Urang kedah neraskeun anjeunna struggle, supados rang ge always still contribute," he said.

Representative of the Fauzan Islamic Boarding School, KH Atjeng Abdul Wahid, said that the haol series was held throughout the Islamic boarding school environment.

This activity was also a joint prayer for the late Hajah Fatmah and her family who had passed away.

KH Atjeng Abdul Wahid invited the public to emulate the sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad in their daily lives.

He gave the example of the Prophet Muhammad's habit of praying for the graves of those who passed by Muslim cemeteries.

It is hoped that the values of the ulama's struggle will continue to be a guideline for building a society that is knowledgeable, moral, and useful.
