PORTALJABAR, DISTRICT. GARUT - The Regent of Garut, Rudy Gunawan appreciated the services of the Garut Regency Ministry of Religion (Kemenag) Office at the Commemoration Ceremony of the 78th Charity Day of the Ministry of Religion of the Republic of Indonesia which took place at MAN 2 Garut, Jalan Pembangunan, Tarogong Kidul District, Garut Regency (3 /1/2024).

"The ranks of the Garut Regency Government and the entire community of Garut Regency express their appreciation and appreciation for the performance of the Garut Regency Office of the Ministry of Religion of the Republic of Indonesia under the leadership of Dr. H. Saepulloh," said the Regent of Garut

Rudy said that this Charity Day is a moment to unite the people, in accordance with the theme this year, namely "Indonesia is Great with the People". He hopes that religious communities in Indonesia can unite happily for Indonesia to progress.

Apart from that, he also thanked the Garut Ministry of Religion Office along with the Garut Regency MUI, Islamic mass organizations, and all other entities who have taken concrete steps to maintain peace in the implementation of worship for every religious community in Garut Regency.

"Of course it's not easy, when we all pay attention to politics. But in Garut Regency the choices are different only at the polling stations, but at home, in the neighborhood, at work, or wherever we still don't prioritize any differences. This is thanks to the hard work of all of us including the Ministry of Religion of the Republic of Indonesia, Garut Regency," he continued.

Not only that, he also thanked the Garut Ministry of Religion Office for providing satisfactory service to the Garut Regency Hajj pilgrims, so that they could carry out their worship properly and faithfully.

"Of course the Ministry of Religion of Garut Regency, along with the KBIH-KBIH, and MUI under the leadership of KH Sirojul Munir, and of course the regional government will be led by the Regional Secretary, will provide encouragement for the implementation of the pillars of Islam, namely carrying out the Hajj," he continued.

Finally, the Regent of Garut expressed his appreciation and appreciation to the Head of the Religious Affairs Office (KUA) who had provided services, especially related to wedding matters, so that the wedding could be held on time.

"No one will be refused marriage unless they are still underage in accordance with statutory provisions," he said.

Meanwhile, the Head of the Garut Ministry of Religion, Saepulloh, expressed his gratitude to all levels of society who have always been extraordinary in looking forward to the Indonesian Ministry of Religion's Charity Day, which is also the Birthday of the Ministry of Religion on January 3.

He hopes that this year's HAB moment can be a momentum for the Garut Regency Ministry of Religion Office to continue working to serve the people, maintain the dignity of the Ministry of Religion, and maintain peace and tranquility at all levels of society.
