"Hopefully the young generation of Garut Regency from whatever background, of course whoever it is, is our hope, the young generation who will lead the future will be a young generation who is intelligent and has good morals," he said.
Rudy also appreciated the Garut Regency Indonesian National Youth Committee (KNPI), and all entities in the Garut Regency youth movement, including fellow students, for their contribution during the 10 years with Rudy-Helmi.
"And God willing, you will all be even better in the future," he said.
Head of the Garut Regency Youth and Sports Service (Dispora), Ade Hendarsyah, added that it is important to prepare for the demographic bonus in Golden Indonesia 2045. He emphasized the need to increase the capacity of youth resources, provide literacy skills and skills to face the era of digitalization.
"Because if the demographic bonus is not prepared well, it will actually be a disaster, therefore we really have to prepare today's young people, young people who have to be productive," he said.
He assessed that the contribution of youth in Garut Regency is quite significant in community, social development and so on. In fact, continued Ade, many Garut youth now occupy several strategic positions in the Garut District Government.
"Today there are many officials who occupy important roles, from young groups whose age is under 40 years," he said.
He revealed that this HSP is a momentum for new enthusiasm, especially for young people who are now faced with the Society 5.0 era, where according to him young people must have personalities that are ready to compete in that era. One of them is having leadership qualities, which must be cultivated from an early age.
"I hope that young people, especially in Garut Regency, will have a creative spirit, in developing and building Garut Regency to be more advanced," he said. (Diskominfo Garut/UPI)
