PORTALJABAR, GARUT REGENCY - The Regent of Garut, Abdusy Syakur Amin, officially opened the Opening Ceremony of the Gebyar Ustadz/Ustadzah Nusantara & Gema Sakinah Festival at the West Java Province Level which was held at the Garut Regency Pendopo Building, Jalan Kiansantang, Garut City District, Tuesday (25/8/2026).

The activity, which was organized by the Indonesian Youth Mosque Communication Agency (BKPRMI) of West Java Province with the support of BKPRMI Garut Regency, was also attended by the ranks of the Forkopimda of Garut Regency, Asda I of the Garut Regency Health Service, representatives of the West Java Province Ministry of Religion Regional Office, the Garut Regency Education Office, and the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI) of Garut Regency.

In his remarks, the Regent of Garut expressed his joy and appreciation for the holding of this provincial-level event in Garut Regency. He stated that the event is a crucial tool in developing dedicated and competent religious educators.

"This activity is very good for preparing quality and outstanding ustadz and ustadzah, so that they can become the spearhead in building the character of the nation's children, especially in carrying out various activities in the mosque," said Abdusy Syakur Amin.

He emphasized that mosque-based character building would have a positive domino effect on children's growth and development as well as the nation's future.

"We hope this can spread to other children, so that in the future we can prepare a golden generation of Indonesia," he added.

Concluding his remarks, the Regent of Garut expressed his deepest gratitude to the ranks of the West Java Province BKPRMI and all parties who had entrusted him with and contributed to the success of this strategic agenda in Garut Regency.
