PORTALJABAR, GARUT REGENCY - The Regent of Garut, Abdusy Syakur Amin, officially inaugurated and took the oath of 42 Civil Servants (PNS) in Structural Positions within the Garut Regency Government, which was held at the Garut Regency Pendopo Building, Jalan Kiansantang, Garut City District, Friday (20/2/2026).

The 42 newly appointed officials were tasked with carrying out new responsibilities to improve the quality of service to the people of Garut.

The Garut Regent stated that the inauguration was not merely a ceremonial event. It was more than just part of a long process of managing the State Civil Apparatus (ASN), which was carried out strictly according to applicable regulations.
‎
"So, please understand that this process has been underway for a long time. I always emphasize that everything we do always follows applicable regulations through a talent management system approach," said Abdusy Syakur Amin.

He emphasized that the implementation of this system was carried out solely to provide the broadest and fairest opportunities to every ASN to develop their careers according to their respective capacities and abilities.

Furthermore, the Regent has high hopes for the newly appointed officials. He emphasized that civil servants in Garut Regency must be responsive, responsible, and sensitive to the various dynamics and needs of the community.

Concluding his remarks, the Regent of Garut reminded everyone that office is a mandate that must be carried out as well as possible, especially because the challenges of bureaucracy and public services in the future will be increasingly complex.
