PORTALJABAR, DISTRICT. GARUT - Garut Regent, Rudy Gunawan chaired a Coordination Meeting (Rakor) with SKPD and BUMD in the Garut Regency Regional Financial and Asset Management Agency (BPKAD) Hall, Monday (8/1/2024).

The coordination meeting discussed increasing income, studying potential PAD loss, and implementing meritocracy.

The Regional Secretary (Sekda) of Garut Regency, Nurdin Yana, conveyed the Regent's message that the Regional Revenue Agency (Bapenda) can increase revenue by focusing on potential loss of Regional Original Income (PAD).

"The potential loss must be studied, so that later Bapenda can also work together with Bappeda, how to determine a plan to increase our income," said Nurdin when interviewed after the coordination meeting.

Meanwhile, BPKAD was asked to identify idle (immovable) assets that could be collaborated with other parties so that this could increase the revenue owned by the Garut District Government.

Likewise, it is hoped that parking fees can be optimized so that they can increase the PAD of the Garut Regency Government.

In the context of meritocracy, said Nurdin, the Garut Regency Personnel and Education Agency (BKD) was asked to conduct a replica study or a kind of learning to other districts/cities regarding the consequences of achieving an A for meritocracy. (Diskominfo Garut/Fauziah Ismi)
