PORTALJABAR, GARUT REGENCY - Garut Regent Abdusy Syakur Amin inaugurated the Hall of the Qur'an Recitation Development Institute and opened the Phase I Development of the Garut Regency Contingent for the West Java Province-level Qur'an Recitation Competition (6/4/2026).

The activity took place at the LPTQ office of Garut Regency, Jalan Ibrahim Adjie, Tarogong Kaler District.

Abdusy Syakur Amin expressed his appreciation to Al-Qur'an activists who continue to spread religious values through recitation activities.

He assessed that the role of LPTQ is very strategic in grounding the values of the Qur'an in society.

The Regent of Garut also appreciated the independence of the LPTQ which succeeded in gradually building a hall to support the development activities of the kafilah.

The Daily Chair of the Garut Regency LPTQ, KH Sasa Sunarsa, explained that the construction of the office and hall would be carried out over five years, from 2021 to 2025.

These facilities are expected to be able to support the improvement of the achievements of the Garut Regency delegation at the West Java Provincial MTQ event.

The first stage of coaching for the Garut Regency MTQ convoy was carried out for four days until April 9, 2026.

A total of 58 participants from various competition branches took part in the coaching activities.

The committee hopes that this training will prepare the Garut Regency delegation to perform optimally at the provincial level MTQ event.
