PORTALJABAR, DISTRICT. GARUT - The Regent of Garut, Rudy Gunawan paid an official visit to inaugurate the Sucinaraja District Office building (8/1/2024).

Not only did he inaugurate the new building, on this occasion the regent apologized and said goodbye to the residents of Sucinaraja District, realizing that his leadership period would soon end.

Rudy Gunawan expressed his struggle to realize the construction of the office, facing obstacles such as plans to build the Garut-Sukawening-Wanaraja (GSW) road which were stopped due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Despite experiencing obstacles, the regent expressed his gratitude to all parties involved in the project.

"But now it's only 18 billion until Grandma was released yesterday, then it will come here and then it will reach Wado, because in 2020 it turns out that the budget we had prepared was around 40 billion, including construction from Banprov at that time, we couldn't because of refocusing and reallocation because of COVID-19," he continued.

The Regent of Garut expressed his apologies for the delay in the construction of the Sucinaraja District Office building. Rudy said that the inauguration of this building was an honor for the entire community of Sucinaraja District.

Lastly, he thanked all parties who had helped local governments in dealing with poverty in their regions.

"Aside from apologizing, I also thank TKSK (or) the District Social Welfare Team, there are PKH coordinators, there are people who have contributed to those who are poor today," he said.

In the same place, the Head of Sucinaraja Subdistrict, Yeni Damayanti, expressed his highest gratitude to the Regent of Garut Rudy Gunawan and Deputy Regent of Garut Helmi Budiman, who have served Garut Regency for 10 years so that Garut Regency can achieve various awards and achievements.

"We have felt a lot of goodness, both goodness that can be felt through development, or also outside development," he said.

He was also grateful for the development of several infrastructure, one of which is road infrastructure which has been implemented by the regional government.
