PORTALJABAR, GARUT DISTRICT -   Garut Regent Abdusy Syakur Amin stated that he would allocate a larger budget for infrastructure development in 2027 to address the high public aspirations for improvements and completeness of physical infrastructure.

This was conveyed by Syakur when opening the XII Branch Conference (Muscab) of the Indonesian National Construction Implementation Association Branch Management Board (BPC GAPENSI) of Garut Regency at the Fave Hotel Garut, Tarogong Kidul District, Monday (26/10/2026).

In his remarks, Syakur highlighted the government's commitment, both at the provincial and district levels, to continuing to promote infrastructure development. He noted that while education and health are important priorities, public aspirations for physical infrastructure development are also very high.

"But from the various aspirations we've heard, the majority of the public really hopes for infrastructure development. God willing, next year we will allocate even more funds for infrastructure development," said the Regent.

In line with the plan to increase the budget allocation, Syakur hopes that the 12th GAPENSI Garut Regency Muscab can produce a mature work plan and support regional development.

He also advised construction workers to prioritize quality in project work.

"I entrust this to you, please do your best," he concluded.

Meanwhile, the Chairperson of the XII GAPENSI Garut Regency Muscab, Okky Caresa Ginanjar, explained that the meeting was held to generate revolutionary ideas from the members.

Okky hopes that the cooperation between BPC GAPENSI, the Garut Regency Government, and the Garut Regency DPRD can continue to be strengthened in order to realize better and more equitable development.

"I ask my colleagues to conduct this trial in a conducive and orderly manner, so that we can reach a decision for the greater good and formulate programs that we can implement in the future," he concluded.
