PORTALJABAR, GARUT REGENCY - The Regent of Garut, Abdusy Syakur Amin, attended the Capital Owners' Power of Attorney Meeting (RKPM) with the Tirta Intan Drinking Water Company of Garut Regency.
The event took place at the Ballroom of the Mercure Garut Hotel, Jalan Guntur, Garut City District, Thursday (12/3/2026).
This activity discusses the determination of financial rights and the evaluation of the performance of the board of directors and the supervisory board.
The Regent of Garut emphasized the importance of compliance with the latest regulation, namely Home Affairs Ministerial Regulation Number 23 of 2024. He requested that all company policies, including the determination of Holiday Allowances (THR), must be based on applicable legal regulations.
"I won't elaborate. The point is, we all must comply with the applicable regulations. I hope this policy motivates the board of directors and supervisory board to work more optimally. Specifically regarding the planned assistance from the central government, I entrust it to be managed with good governance, transparency, and responsibility," the Garut Regent emphasized.
Meanwhile, the Assistant for Economics and Development (ASDA II) of the Garut Regency Regional Secretariat, Dedy Mulyadi, explained that the RKPM is a constitutional mechanism for fostering regionally-owned enterprises (BUMD). One of its main agendas is establishing financial rights policies and the amount of THR (Holiday Allowance) for company organs.
"This determination must of course take into account various aspects, including the company's financial condition, performance, and applicable laws and regulations. We hope that every decision made in this meeting will be made objectively, transparently, and responsibly, while adhering to the principles of good corporate governance," said Dedy.
Meanwhile, the President Director of Perumda Air Minum Tirta Intan, Dadan Hidayatulloh, explained the proposed THR for directors and supervisory boards, in accordance with the mandate of Home Affairs Ministerial Regulation No. 23 of 2024 concerning the Organization and Personnel of Regionally-Owned Drinking Water Companies (BUMD). This regulation itself has been socialized since late 2024 and fully implemented starting in January 2025.
"Based on Articles 12, 13, 39, and 40 of the Home Affairs Ministerial Regulation, directors and supervisory boards are entitled to receive THR as a form of appreciation and financial support in welcoming Eid al-Fitr," explained Dadan.
He hopes that this allowance will be directly proportional to the improved welfare and enthusiasm of management in managing and improving the quality of drinking water services for the people of Garut Regency. (Garut Communications and Information Service/rka)
