PORTALJABAR, DISTRICT. GARUT - The Regent of Garut, Rudy Gunawan, received a visit from representatives of Gamagori City, Japan, in the Pamengkang Room, Garut City District, Tuesday (14/11/2023).

This visit is part of the collaboration between Indonesia and Japan, focused on placing work areas and exporting spices and eels which are being developed by Garut Regency.

Several representatives from Gamagori City attended the meeting, including Head of Corporate Planning Fukushimura Hospital, Satoshi Inada, CEO of Advanced System Designer (ASD Co. Ltd), Yuichi Yano, and CEO of Ad-Memory Co., Ltd - Kota Kinoshita.

The Regent of Garut, Rudy Gunawan, said that this visit was within the framework of cooperation between Indonesia and Japan, where the theme of the cooperation was still related to the placement of work areas to exports such as spices and eels which are currently being developed by Garut Regency.

He revealed that Garut Regency already has collaboration with several city governments in Japan, and next year according to him it will be developed with a new government leader.

"The new government leaders will continue what we have initiated, including, God willing, next year there will be more for the PUPR Service related (additional equipment), and also we still need three firefighting units," he said.

Rudy said that the collaboration with Japan was solely to provide something good for the people of Garut Regency.

"We are collaborating with Japan, providing something good for society. Thank you," he said. (rdp*)
