PORTALJABAR, CIAMIS REGENCY - The Ciamis Regency Government, together with Indomaret and Healthy Way Kids, distributed 250 nutrition packages to toddlers and the elderly through a Corporate Social Responsibility program to support improving public health (July 3, 2026).
The aid was symbolically handed over by the Regent of Ciamis, Herdiat Sunarya, at the Ciamis Regency Education Office Hall as an effort to strengthen stunting prevention and fulfill nutritional needs for vulnerable groups.
Ciamis Regent Herdiat Sunarya appreciated Indomaret's concern for providing real benefits to the community through its corporate social responsibility program.
"On behalf of the Ciamis Regency Government and the community, I would like to thank Indomaret for not only operating in Ciamis but also providing tangible benefits through its CSR program for the community," said Herdiat.
Herdiat believes that nutritional support is crucial for toddlers, as the growth period, from pregnancy to age five, is crucial for preventing stunting.
"Stunting prevention begins during pregnancy, then from birth until the baby is five years old. During this period, nutritional needs must be truly met so that our children grow up healthy, strong, and become a superior generation," he explained.
He added that collaboration between the government, the business world, and the community is key to preparing a healthy generation towards Golden Indonesia 2045.
Indomaret Branch Manager Dedi Yusup said that the distribution of aid is the company's commitment to supporting community development through its Corporate Social Responsibility program.
Dedi hopes that the synergy with the Ciamis Regency Government will continue so that health, education, and social programs can provide wider benefits to the community.
