PORTALJABAR, GARUT REGENCY - Garut Regent Abdusy Syakur Amin led a joint assembly held at the Regional Secretariat (Setda) Field of Garut Regency, Monday (21/4/2025).

This activity also marks exactly two months of his leadership with Deputy Regent Putri Karlina for the 2025-2030 period.

In his message, Syakur emphasized that the public trust that brought him to the leadership position was driven by the hope for renewal and improvement in various government sectors.

"One of the things that made us elected by the people is that we promised renewal, improvement, especially for the people. Ladies and gentlemen, don't worry because we are also part of the people," he said.

He invited all ASN to be actively involved in realizing the vision of Great Garut, which aims to make Garut a safe, comfortable area, as well as a peaceful and happy place to live for all its citizens, including future generations.

To realize this vision, the party will make maximum efforts to translate it into concrete actions.

"I specifically ask for the participation of all of you, ASN, to be able to actively participate in the updates that we want to make," he said.

Although he has only been in office for 60 days, Syakur said there were already positive signs, especially in terms of the attitude of ASN which he said was increasingly responsive to various community problems.

"Of course, it is impossible for us to do everything we want in 60 days, but we have seen some significant changes, especially in the attitude of ASN," he said.

He also appreciated the public who had given a positive response to the performance of ASN, which was considered faster and more responsive in responding to complaints.

"I see that the community also appreciates all of you, all of you have been quick, fast, some of you were quick when there was a complaint, I conveyed it to the SKPD, I conveyed it to the sub-district head, very fast. That's all as basic capital for us," he said.

Syakur also said that the first two months were also a phase of introduction and assessment of the character, dedication, and sincerity of ASN, as a consideration in compiling a solid cabinet structure that was in line with the vision of his government.
