PORTALJABAR, BOGOR REGENCY - Bogor Regent Rudy Susmanto conducted a working visit to the Jasinga and Nanggung Districts to directly review two important locations: the Garisul tomb complex in Jasinga and the current condition of SDN Kalong Sawah 01 after the fire, on (23/4/2025).

Rudy explained that the name Garisul is an abbreviation of “Garis Rasulullah”, which has historical and religious value for the local community. He emphasized that this visit is also a moment to strengthen social programs in remote areas.

"In addition to reviewing historical sites, we also saw firsthand the condition of SDN Kalong Sawah 01 after the fire. We distributed school supplies packages for students, as well as reviewed the implementation of the free nutritious meal program for children," said Rudy Susmanto.

The Regent of Bogor also said that the reconstruction of SDN Kalong Sawah 01 would be a priority, and had been included in the 2025 APBD. He hopes that the repair process can begin sooner so that teaching activities can begin immediately.

"We want construction to start before December. Currently, the learning system is still done in shifts due to space limitations. We will try our best so that the burned school building can be repaired immediately," he added.

Next, Rudy Susmanto reviewed the construction of the Pendopo Kawedanan Jasinga, which is expected to become a center for preserving local culture. The initial construction of the pendopo was supported by the community without using APBD funds, while the next stage including the cultural gallery will be funded by the APBD.

"This Pendopo is the hope of the Jasinga community and all Bogor residents. Construction has been underway for the fourth to fifth day. We appreciate the community's mutual cooperation," he said.

During this working visit, Bulati Rudy also visited the home of a figure in the West Bogor area, as well as inspecting the Nirmala Tea Plantation tourist area in Malasari.

The Bogor Regency Government has also planned to build a road from Malasari to Sukabumi to improve connectivity and economic growth in the region.
