PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG CITY - The Bandung City Government (Pemkot) continues to strive so that its apparatus has core values that are AHLAK or Service Oriented, Accountable, Competent, Harmonious, Loyal, Adaptive, Collaborative. This is so that State Civil Servants (ASN) can work responsibly and become the foundation of a professional work culture.

One way is to provide guidance to State Civil Apparatus (ASN). This was conveyed by the Assistant for General Administration, Tono Rusdiantono during the guidance given to 321 school principals at the Karang Setra Hotel, Tuesday (27/2/2024).

"We have to make this a commitment. I hope that the Bandung City ASN will show proud achievements," he said.

He revealed that the Bandung City Bureaucratic Reform Index achieved the title A, with an index of 83.58. Due to this, Tono hopes that bureaucratic services in the Bandung City Government will continue to improve.

"This is an encouragement to implement better service from officers to the community," he said.

Tono added that the school environment needs to be disciplined to improve performance and even the wheels of education for students at school.

"This is a joint commitment, especially from educational staff, to be disciplined and set a good example for students at school," he said.

Head of the Bandung City Personnel and Human Resources Development Agency (BKPSDM), Adi Junjunan Mustafa, said that this development was his party's task. Especially for the merit system, namely discipline.

"This coaching is part of civil service duties, namely part of the merit system, one of which is discipline. The point is coaching on Government Regulation Number 94 of 2021 concerning Civil Servant Discipline," he said.

Adi added that these regulations continue to be echoed and implemented by ASN within the Bandung City Government as an effort to be disciplined in carrying out their duties.

"We have to remind them continuously because discipline will affect teachers and create a good educational environment," he said. (rdp*)
