PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG CITY - Creavill Bandung is here as a forum for the community to build creativity and independence through literacy and empowerment.

Established since May 17, 2017, this community was born from the initiative of Co-Founder Rindra Nuriza and four of his colleagues. Inspired by Rindra's personal experience of seeing his mother being able to educate herself through diligent reading.

Creavill Bandung is now a space for children and residents to gain access to literacy and education.

Creavill Bandung has a vision to create and develop sustainable creative villages, synergize with various parties who care about Indonesia's independence, and are committed to realizing an independent and prosperous society.

With the spirit of collaboration, this community hopes to bring inspiration and change to the wider community, not only at the national level but also globally.
One of the main programs run by Creavill Bandung is the Creative Reading House. One of them is in the Braga area.

This program aims to increase literacy interest among children and local residents by providing a diverse collection of books.

"Creavill Bandung also organizes various other programs based on community needs with the Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) approach, namely a participatory method that involves the community in identifying potential and problems in fostered villages," said the general chair of Creavill Bandung, Syifa Fauziah (27/3/2025).

Along the way, Creavill Bandung faced various challenges, ranging from managing volunteers with different backgrounds to program funding that required the community to be more creative in seeking sponsorship.

"We come from various regions with our own busy lives, but Creavill Bandung is a space to share and learn together. We continue to look for ways to stay solid and run empowerment programs well," he said.

Despite facing various challenges, Creavill Bandung remains committed to continuing to move forward and creating a creative and independent society.

With the support of various parties and a spirit of mutual cooperation, this community hopes to provide a broader and more real impact on society.
