JAKARTA – Dedi Mulyadi and Erwan Setiawan were officially inaugurated as Governor and Deputy Governor of West Java for the 2025-2030 period. The inauguration by President Prabowo Subianto took place at the Merdeka Palace, Jakarta, Thursday (20/2/2025).

In this historic procession, President Prabowo also inaugurated hundreds of regional heads from all over Indonesia. A total of 961 officials consisting of 33 governors, 33 deputy governors, 363 regents, 362 deputy regents, and 85 mayors and 85 deputy mayors were inaugurated simultaneously at the State Palace.

In his remarks, President Prabowo congratulated all the newly inaugurated regional heads and emphasized that the positions they hold are a mandate from the people.

"You are servants of the people, you must defend the interests of the people, protect the interests of the people, and fight for the improvement of their lives," President Prabowo emphasized.

The President also highlighted the importance of unity and togetherness in building the nation, regardless of differences in political, religious, or ethnic background.

"We were born into the big family of Nusantara, the big family of the Republic of Indonesia, the big family of Merah Putih, the big family of Bhineka Tunggal Ika. We are different, but we are one," he said.

In closing, President Prabowo invited all regional heads to serve the people with full dedication.

He also reminded that in the near future there will be a leadership retreat organized by the Ministry of Home Affairs in Magelang, Central Java.

"Hopefully you will be strongly trained, those who are in doubt can withdraw," concluded the President.
