PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG CITY - West Java Governor Dedi Mulyadi emphasized that there should be no practice of asking for favors in the process of accepting new students at the Superior Human School (Maung), which will open registration on May 25–29, 2026.

Registration for SPMB Jabar 2026 begins on Monday (25/5/2026) specifically for prospective Maung School students.

Dedi emphasized that the flagship schools prepared by the West Java Provincial Government are intended for students with the best academic and non-academic qualifications, so the entire selection process must be transparent and with integrity.

"No superior school may have (students) entrusted to it by anyone, in any name or for any purpose," said Dedi, Monday (25/5/2026).

The former Regent of Purwakarta asked all school principals and student admissions committees to maintain integrity and avoid practices that conflict with the principles of school excellence.

He even threatened to dismiss the principal and committee members who were proven to be involved in irregularities in the new student admissions process.

"I will not hesitate to dismiss the principal, dismiss the committee, dismiss anyone involved in the dishonorable process of the superior school," he said.

Dedi also ensured that the West Java Provincial Government would take legal action against any parties found guilty of fraud in the admission of new students to leading schools.

According to him, the culture of entrusting things to others should not undermine the goal of establishing superior schools which are aimed at producing quality human resources.

"There must be no culture of patronizing others, and we will not hesitate to take legal action against anyone found guilty of committing irregularities," he said.

Not only that, Dedi said that the West Java Provincial Government will also disclose to the public any parties who try to entrust their children through channels that violate the principle of transparency.

"We will also publicly announce who enrolls their children in superior schools that violate the principles of transparency and the principles of excellence of the schools themselves," he said.

Dedi hopes that the entire new student admission process can be carried out objectively so that high-achieving students can be accepted without intervention from any party, including parents.

"Let's make our children become high-achieving children without parental intervention," he said.
