PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG CITY - West Java Governor Dedi Mulyadi asked the public not to give him Eid parcels.
He stated that the Eid parcels that are usually given to governors in the form of food should be given to the less fortunate because they need it more.

"I said that those who want to give parcels to the governor should not send them, but give them to residents in need," said Dedi Mulyadi in Bandung City, Thursday (20/3/2025).

Dedi explained that the parcels that will be given to residents in need can be in the form of packages with a nominal value of Rp 150,000. Then the packages are handed over directly to residents in need around their environment.

"Send parcels to residents in the form of packages worth Rp150,000, deliver them to neighbors, friends who are less fortunate in their environment," explained the Governor who is familiarly called KDM (Kang Dedi Mulyadi).

Providing these packages will ease the burden on residents, especially when facing Eid.
Dedi said that the parcel given to him would be of little use.

"This is good, if there are 100 people who send it to me, for example, they can give it to 10 people, that means there are 1,000 people who can be helped. Compared to piling it up at my place, no one will eat it," he said.

Dedi then gave a message to the public that if they wanted to give parcels to the governor, they should simply write Eid Mubarak greetings plus a report stating that they had given packages to underprivileged residents.

"Convey your Eid greetings to the governor in the form of paper with the words, Mr. Governor, Happy Eid al-Fitr, I have given the parcels to Mak Acah, Mak Imih, Mak Inah , and so on. Just mention their names," said Dedi.
