PORTALJABAR, BOGOR CITY - Bogor Mayor Dedie A. Rachim encouraged the strengthening of the role and participation of youth through the formulation of the Mayor's Regulation on Youth, Saturday (28/2/2026).

This was conveyed after the Youth Dialogue entitled Ngabuburit: Youth Ideas and the Future of the Youth Mayoral Regulation at Paseban Sri Baduga, Bogor City Hall.

The Bogor City Government has opened up space for discussion on the substance of the Mayoral Regulation as a technical derivative of the 2017 Youth Regional Regulation.

The mayoral regulation will regulate operational mechanisms related to government contributions and space for youth participation in regional development.

This regulation is expected to become an official forum for young people to convey ideas, innovations, views, and strategic suggestions.

Head of the Bogor City Youth and Sports Agency, Anas S. Rasmana, said that his agency is currently conducting a survey on youth participation in various development sectors.

The survey results will form the basis for formulating policies to ensure that youth involvement is more targeted and measurable.

The Chairman of the Bogor City KNPI, Rivaldo Surya, emphasized the youth's commitment to playing an active role in the regional government's strategic agenda and plans.

The Bogor City Government hopes the Youth Mayoral Regulation will strengthen collaboration and encourage real contributions from young people to the city's progress. (Bogor City Communications and Information Office/bhf)
