PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG CITY - Dharma Wanita PBB (DWP) West Java Province held a Ramadan Bazaar 1445 H in the courtyard of Gedung Sate, Jalan Diponegoro, Bandung City, Wednesday (27/3/2024).
The bazaar, which was held for two days, provided various community needs at cheap or below market prices.
After opening the bazaar, West Java DWP Advisory Board Amanda Bey Machmudin said that in the month of Ramadan, especially before Eid, household needs are certain to increase. This causes the prices of basic necessities to always rise.
"The existence of cheap bazaars and markets is a solution and makes it easier for people, especially housewives, to meet domestic needs because they are sold at relatively cheap prices," said Amanda Bey Machmudin.
Different from the previous year, this time the West Java DWP DWP is collaborating with the West Java Plantation Service. So not only clothes and Eid necessities are being sold but basic necessities are also available at cheaper prices.
"Let's shop for typical Ramadan dishes, creative products and various staple foods here," invited Amanda.
The Ramadan bazaar is filled with more than 100 stands of various commodities consisting of 42 DWP stands, 35 general stands and 25 sponsor stands. Open from 8 am until sunset, the bazaar is also filled with cult competitions, qasidah competitions, flower arranging and drawing.
"This activity is useful and oriented towards community needs," said Amanda.
