Bandung City Cooperatives and SMEs Office Holds Digital Marketing Training for Fostered Micro Business Actors

PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG CITY - The Bandung City Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises (KUKM) Service is holding Digital Marketing Strategy Education and Training through Marketplace Platforms and Social Media.

The event, which took place at SMK Negeri 3 Bandung, aims to improve the capabilities of micro-entrepreneurs in digital marketing, while also supporting the growth of micro-entrepreneurs in the city of Bandung.

This activity, which was attended by 40 micro-entrepreneurs fostered by the Bandung City Cooperatives and SMEs Service, took place on 3 - 6 December 2024.

Participants have been selected based on certain criteria, such as having basic computer and internet knowledge and high motivation to develop online marketing strategies.

Acting Head of the KUKM Service, Bambang Sukardi said that this training is a response to changes in marketing patterns and consumer behavior which are now increasingly moving towards digital platforms.

"Through this training, micro-entrepreneurs are able to adapt to digital trends to increase their competitiveness and expand their markets," Bambang hoped, Tuesday, December 3, 2024.

This training covers a variety of important materials, such as an introduction to digital marketing, social media optimization, market utilization, photo and video content design, search engine marketing, and website creation.

In addition, participants also receive training in the form of entrepreneurial motivation and direct practice, such as creating interesting content for social media and maximizing Google My Business features.

With lecture, question and answer, and practice methods, this training is expected to provide real solutions for micro-business actors to optimize their product marketing online.

According to Bambang, the Bandung City Government continues to support the development of MSMEs as one of the pillars of the regional economy. Training like this is one of the real manifestations of this commitment, in line with the city's vision and mission in encouraging the interest and competitiveness of MSMEs.

"We are optimistic that micro-entrepreneurs in Bandung are able to utilize digital technology to advance their businesses.
