PORTALJABAR, BOGOR CITY - Bogor Mayor Dedie A. Rachim and his Deputy Jenal Mutaqin received a visit from the General Chairperson of the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI) Kaesang Pangarep and PSI cadres at the Paseban Punta Room, Balai
Bogor City, Friday (2/5/2025).

The presence of Kaesang Pangarep, who was also accompanied by members of the Bogor City Regional People's Representative Council (DPRD), was a symbol of togetherness in supporting programs in Bogor City for the good of the community.

On this occasion, Dedie Rachim treated Kaesang to Bogor's specialty food, Doclang.

There was a warm moment when Dedie Rachim made a joke about the meaning of the word "Doclang" which made the atmosphere more relaxed.

"The language of diplomacy is Doclang, but it turns out he already knows Doclang. So this is a good opportunity. He said that the Pilkada is over. In the future, let's build togetherness, synergize, and collaborate for the good," said Dedie Rachim.

This meeting, continued Dedie Rachim, was also an opportunity for nostalgia or reunion after the implementation of the regional elections.

"So we welcome his offer and God willing, there will be Mr. Sugeng Teguh Santoso in Bogor who will be our colleague in building Bogor even better," he said.

On this occasion, Kaesang Pangarep also expressed his support for development in Bogor City through PSI cadres who sit in the Bogor City DPRD.

Kaesang Pangarep also asked PSI cadres in Bogor City to stand up straight to help the Bogor City Government (Pemkot) for the benefit of the people.

"Making friends with the Mayor and Deputy Mayor of Bogor, regardless of our differences during the Pilkada. But after the Pilkada is over, we must make friends. We have also instructed PSI cadres who sit in the Bogor City DPRD to always loyally support the Mayor and Deputy Mayor," said Kaesang Pangarep.

On this occasion, his party also expressed its readiness to convey the aspirations of the Mayor of Bogor to the central level.
