PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG CITY - West Java Governor Dedi Mulyadi confirmed that there would be no closure of Jalan Diponegoro, Bandung City, as previously reported in the community.

He emphasized that the installation of the sign stating that the road would be closed from April 30 to August 7, 2026, was illegal and had no basis for approval from the provincial government.

According to him, people can continue their normal activities without worrying about access closures in the area. He also urged residents to maintain order, cleanliness, and the beauty of the city.

"Hopefully, we can always carry out our activities as usual, and maintain the cleanliness and beauty of Bandung, a city we are all proud of," he said.

Dedi added that the government is currently renovating the Gedung Sate courtyard. He hopes the process will proceed safely, smoothly, and be completed on time without significantly disrupting public mobility.
